Why

Every desk mat on the internet is either a black rectangle with a logo on it, or an anime girl. There is nothing in between.

We make the in-between. Actual designs, printed properly, on a mat that's big enough to be useful. That's the whole pitch. We're not going to tell you it improves your aim.

First drop is one design, in three sizes. If it sells, there's another one. If it doesn't, we'll pretend this never happened.

Who

Hey. I'm known as chl.renders, but my real name is Leo.

I've been creating Blender animations for almost 2 years, and since starting I've grown a community of 130,000+ people across YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.

Since I don't make any money by posting animations, I've decided to take something I've created digitally and turn it into something that blends seamlessly on your desk.

This is my first-ever product launch, and I've funded the entire project myself — from the design and the production to everything that went into bringing it to life.

And because this is my first launch, I'm keeping it limited to 300 pieces. After that it's gone for good, and the list gets in a full day before anyone else.

FAQ

The mat
How much will it cost?

Not set yet — the shop isn't open, and the list gets the prices first. Shipping depends on where you are. Any local taxes are worked out by the shop at checkout and shown before you pay.

What sizes does it come in?

Three: 12 × 18 in (305 × 457 mm), 12 × 22 in (305 × 559 mm) and 15.5 × 31.5 in (394 × 800 mm). Same design, same 3mm neoprene and the same anti-slip backing on all three.

When does it ship?

There's no date yet, and we're not going to guess one. The list hears the moment there is.

Do you ship to my country?

It ships from the US. Whether it reaches your country, and what that costs, the shop shows at checkout before you pay.

What if I don't like it?

Returns are handled by the shop, and you'll see its policy before you pay. In the EU and UK you also have a statutory right to change your mind within 14 days of delivery.

Will there be more designs?

If this one works, yes. That's genuinely up to you.

Is joining the list a commitment?

No. It's an email address. You get told when it drops and that's it.

How long have you been doing this?

Two years of making renders and putting them online.

How much work has gone into it?

Close to 100 videos, at roughly 30 hours each. That's about 3,000 hours — call it a year and a half of full-time work, done around everything else.

How much have you made from it so far?

$0. Two years, nothing. That isn't a complaint and it isn't a sob story — it's just the honest reason there's a desk mat on this page.
