What you are agreeing to
These terms cover this website and the waitlist on it, run by [FULL LEGAL NAME], trading as chl.renders. They do not cover buying anything — there is nothing to buy yet.
When the drop opens, we will not be selling to you. The shop is operated by Fourthwall Inc., which is the seller and merchant of record for every order: it takes the payment, produces and ships the product, collects any VAT or sales tax, and handles returns, refunds and customer support. Your purchase contract is with Fourthwall, under Fourthwall’s terms, which you will see before you pay. What we do is design the artwork.
Purchases
Everything to do with buying — price, payment, taxes, production, shipping, delivery times, returns, refunds, warranties and complaints — is governed by Fourthwall’s Merchandise Terms of Service and handled by Fourthwall as seller and merchant of record. These terms do not apply to your purchase and we are not a party to it.
The waitlist is not an order
Joining the list costs nothing, reserves nothing, and obliges nobody. It means we will email you when the drop happens. It is not a pre-order, not a deposit, and not a contract of sale. We never take payment from you, at any stage. You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
What we are telling you about the product
The first drop is planned as one design, in a run of 300 units, in three sizes — 12 × 18 in (305 × 457 mm), 12 × 22 in (305 × 559 mm) and 15.5 × 31.5 in (394 × 800 mm) — sublimation-printed on 3mm neoprene with an anti-slip backing. Prices are not set until the shop opens. Shipping is confirmed for the United States; availability elsewhere is still being worked out and no delivery to other countries is promised at this stage. Any local taxes are calculated by the shop at checkout and shown to you before you pay.
These are our current intentions, not guarantees. Specification, price, run size and date can change before launch, and the drop may not happen at all. If any of it changes materially we will tell the list before the drop opens. Images on this site are renders, and the finished product will differ from them in the ways real objects always differ from renders.
Age
Joining the list is open from 14 — that is the age at which, under Italian law, you can consent to this kind of processing on your own. Buying, when the shop opens, has its own age requirements set by the shop, and in Italy you generally need to be 18 to enter into a purchase contract yourself.
The referral mechanic
Sharing your link moves you up the queue when someone joins through it. Queue position affects the order in which we email people; it does not guarantee that stock will still be there when you get to it. We will void referrals that come from fake, disposable, or automatically generated addresses, and we may remove anyone gaming it from the list entirely.
Using the site
Don’t try to break it, overload it, scrape it, or use it to send anyone else’s email address. We may block or remove entries that look automated or abusive.
Our content
The designs and renders are original works created by [FULL LEGAL NAME], who retains copyright in them. The shop that sells them has only a limited licence to use them to fulfil orders. Please don’t reuse them commercially without asking — ask, we’re reasonable.
Liability
The site is provided as-is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from using this site or from the drop being delayed or cancelled. Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — and none of it affects the mandatory consumer rights you have under Italian and EU law.
Law and disputes
Italian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer you can bring a claim in the courts where you live, and nothing here affects your mandatory rights under Italian and EU consumer law. For anything concerning a purchase, the relevant terms and complaint routes are Fourthwall’s, as the seller.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site means the new version applies.
